ABOUT
Fredrick Thomason: Director of Operations
I'm an 8 year veteran of the Ohio National Guard with 2 tours of duty in Iraq. I've acquired a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from The College of Mount St. Joesph as of 2012. I've been working in the education field since 2003, in that time I've seen multiple students struggle with reading. After receiving my degree I was determined to find a way to change what I've seen in our city.

Currently practicing as a physical therapist but I have enjoyed volunteering for multiple community programs. I'm excited about the opportunity to help impact the youth of our city.

EPJ Literacy Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in August of 2014 located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our goal is to improve reading scores on the Ohio Achievement Assessment Test and to build confident readers throughout our city.

EPJ is currently meeting with certain school districts in the Cincinnati area to partner with, we hope to recruit students and use their facilities 1-2 days out of the week. We are also looking at other locations to hold Saturday sessions. In the future we are planning to purchase a building so that we may accompany more students.
