OUR PURPOSE:

Through personal experience and research we've found that children in urban / inner city settings have trouble with reading.  Research also shows that children that struggle in reading are at risk to struggle in other subjects.  Children who are not reading at a 3rd grade level by the end of grade 3 will likely have trouble learning in all subjects in higher grades according to the Ohio Department of Education.  These children are 4 times likely to drop out of school.

OUR MISSION:

EPJ Literacy Foundation is a non-profit organization that's determined to educate inner city children through our literacy progam.  Through a multitude of literary activities we will focus on each child as an individual to ensure that your child receives the attention he/she needs.
