Meet The Staff!

Fred Thomason
Owner & Director:
I'm an 8 year veteran of the Ohio National Guard from 1999-2007, with 2 tours of duty in Kuwait & Iraq in 2003 & 2005. I've acquired a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from The College of Mount St. Joseph as of 2012. I've been working in the education/childcare field since 2003, teaching in schools after I received my degree in 2012 until 2018 during that time I've seen multiple students struggle with reading. That's when I realized that God had something way bigger for me than I planned for myself.

Jamila Thomason
Fitness Coordinator:
I've been a partner with EPJ Literacy & Fitness Academy and EPJ Literacy Foundation since its start in 2013-2014. I acquired my Master's Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and currently a licensed physical therapist out of UC of West Chester. I've been practicing in my field for the last 13 years. I use my knowledge of strengthening and flexibility to help people in various outlets. I plan on using these skills to introduce preschool age children to the fun and benefits of exercise.
